How is my age calculated?
Without a birth time, age uses your birthday and today’s date in your current device time zone. With a birth time, calendar age is counted in your chosen birth time zone, and the live counter uses the actual elapsed time between birth and now. Changing your current location does not change that elapsed time. Years and months use calendar anniversaries, with dates beyond a month’s end moved to its last day. Daylight saving changes can make a calendar day shorter or longer than 24 hours. For the rare birth time that happened twice during a daylight saving change, an extra question appears. If you are unsure, the earlier time is used and elapsed age may differ by the clock change. Invalid times when clocks jumped forward are rejected. Historical accuracy depends on your browser’s time zone database.
